Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing or using the Maple browser extension (“Maple”, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use Maple.
2. Description of service
Maple is a browser extension that helps you track product prices on Amazon and Newegg, records all-time-low prices for items you track, and can alert you when a tracked item reaches a target price you set. A free tier is available, along with an optional paid “Pro” subscription that adds automatic background monitoring, email price-drop alerts, and unlimited tracked items.
3. Pro subscription & billing
- Maple Pro costs $3.99 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction. Your payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy under its own terms, and any applicable taxes are collected by Lemon Squeezy.
- You can cancel at any time through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked from your receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's policies.
4. Price accuracy disclaimer
Important. Prices shown or recorded by Maple may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Retailer prices change frequently and may differ from what Maple displays at any given moment. Maple is an informational tool only. You are solely responsible for verifying the actual price on the retailer's website before making a purchase. Maple is not responsible for your purchase decisions, for any difference between a price shown in Maple and the price charged by a retailer, or for any missed deal or price change.
5. No warranty
Maple is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that price data will be accurate or complete.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Maple for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any retailer's terms of service;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- use the Service to scrape, harvest or republish retailer data at scale beyond your personal price-tracking use.
We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maple and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $20.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Maple after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
